Hitchhiking the Blogosphere
The letters may not be large, but one cannot doubt their utter friendliness. Not the false kind of “sure, I’ll go down the pub whilst battle cruisers lolligag overhead” kind of friendliness. It’s more like the sincere heartfelt friendliness that screams “so that’s it then, we’re going to die...” though, not necessarily in that order OR with that interpretation.
Which leaves us with what? A humorous link to the iTunes Music Store that I can’t help but think about when I’m posting. I’d better get to work on my Ego!
This was going to be a quick post until I decided that I wanted to create an image for it. And THEN I decided that I only wanted to use iWork and iWeb to do it. Why? Well, all my graphics so far have been done that way and I see it as a challenge. I grabbed the Hitchhiker’s icon used for the movies, replicated it in Keynote (using the Draw a Shape tool) then just started adding stuff, going back and forth between iWeb and Keynote until I ended up with what you see above. Like most things that take a long time, it doesn’t look like it and perhaps there were some things I could have done that would have made it easier to complete, but in a step by step way, it still makes sense in my head.
But then again, we ARE talking about MY head.
By the way, if I wasn’t sure before, I’m certain now that in the right hands, Keynote is quite the graphic creation tool especially with the addition of Draw a Shape in version 3.
And by the by the way, in case you were unaware, you can download the Keynote 2 and 3 compatible file (includes the thumb, fingers and circle) by clicking on “Get The Hand” above.
