This is the tip that made me feel like I had stumbled upon a lost golden city. I’d been trying to find a way to use those really cool effects in Comic Life with other programs, but Comic Life didn’t allow cut and paste! However, going through the plasq forums gave me the clues to the answer I was so diligently seeking! In the few short steps outlined here, you were taken from the land of wish-I-could’s to the world of I-have-done’s, an altogether better place to be.

But, like a divine mistake machine running full tilt in erroneous ecstasy, I was setting my big triumph up for it’s own eventual downfall. Just take a visit into plasq’s forums to see it unfold right before your eyes. Download the beta program posted there and treat yourself to full copy/paste privileges! That’s right, no more mucking about with opacities and pdf’s and saving and all that carrying on. Just Command-C and Command-V your way to great looking effects on your own iWeb page, Keynote presentation, Pages document or whatever else you want to toss a graphic grenade into.

And there you have it, another brilliantly executed mistake! This one was KIND of a cheat, because I saw it coming a mile (or a few months) away, but I don’t let that stand in the way of highlighting a most bodacious bungling!
